Co-Founder and Creative Director
Sophie Vériter is the co-founder and creative director of Studio L’Atelier. With an international background spanning Europe and the Americas, her work sits at the intersection of social sciences and design.
After earning a PhD in International Relations and spending a decade working as a consultant in Brussels and Oxford, Sophie took a bold leap and realised one of her long-time dreams: opening an international design studio, a platform to connect local talent with international vision.
Her inspiration is shaped by extensive travel, from the calm of Provence and the elegance of Spain and Italy to the richness of Morocco, the refined style of Northern Europe, and the untamed landscapes of Mexico.
Sophie brings a deeply human-centred and culturally sensitive approach to every project. Through years of work across diverse contexts, she has developed a distinctive vision grounded in empathy, storytelling, and emotional resonance.

Agustín Helguero is the co-founder and business developer of Studio L’Atelier. With experience in the creative, hospitality, and real estate sectors, he brings the perfect blend to guide the growth of Studio L’Atelier.
Agustín has extensive experience in Latin America and particularly Tulum’s dynamic property market. With a deep understanding of local development, investment strategies, and the region’s evolving lifestyle landscape, he has supported both investors and homeowners in navigating successful real estate projects.
Grounded in years of on-the-ground experience in both Europe and the Americas, Agustín brings a practical, market-driven perspective to each project, combining local insight with a clear vision for long-term value, functionality, and livability.
